✨ With the summer in full swing, it’s time to take the full advantage of the concept of JOMO (Joy of missing out): prioritise your self-care and enjoy missing out on activities. ✨ 


Many high performers share with me during mentoring sessions that it is challenging to switch the pace and even during holidays they get stressed by the amount of activities they do. 💣 


Recharging and self-care are important, but it is hard to start. Here are a few ideas how you can adapt generic ideas to your own lifestyle:


🔐 Disconnect from social media. I like to leave the phone in another room for an hour to start with and then increase to longer stretches of time.


💡 Meditation. Sitting still is not my thing, so I found affirmations and meditation that can be done while walking.


💛 Reconnect with people in real life. Start with people that you really enjoy spending time with and offer to meet. The main rule is that it should be in person.
