🙌 Collaboration is crucial for the success of any company. 🙌Â
However, any product manager had a moment when we were working on a product with the focus on getting an important functionality out, but you see another team doing things in an opposite direction. It leads to you feeling like:
😣 you are not heard;
😯 you were not included in an important decision;
😕 you are losing trust to your previous agreements;
I frequently see this situation in various forms of collaboration and this leads to demotivation, delays in projects and bad business outcomes even when everyone's under the same roof.
Your role as a Product manager is critical to correct this situation, which looks like
💡 improvement of relationships with other teams,
💡 relevant information is exchanged between teams at the right time,
💡 the goals of all teams are aligned,
This will allow you to drive a higher impact for the company and will make it easier for you get to results faster and with less effort.
However, it is difficult to get to this result since there are different types of collaboration. That’s why I have created a series of weekly LinkedIn posts about different types of collaboration and tips on how you are improve them.
